Founded in 1961, SURVAL MONT-FLEURI is an international boarding school for girls.
Situated in the heights of Montreux in privileged surroundings facing the Lake of Geneva, it is the ideal place for the pursuit of stimulating studies suitable to the professional aspirations of a modern young lady. The school has three objectives : to ensure young women reach an academic level that permits them to go on to a university education, to enable them to compete in the business world, and to give them the social skills necessary to handle any situation. |

SCHOOL YEAR – Students from 14 to 25 years
The school offers 4 different study programs:
• High School Section from 9th to 12th grades: An international academic program , taught in English and based on the American High School system, for young ladies who wish to enter colleges in the US and Canada, Business schools, etc. Surval Mont-Fleuri is accredited by «The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation C.I.T.A».
This program is also valid for girls who would like to be admitted to the Mont-Fleuri Women's College to prepare a BBA.
• Bachelor of Business Administration Section: The Mont-Fleuri Women's College gives young women the possibility of preparing a «Bachelor of Business Administration» in just 6 semesters (3 years). It is the only program of its kind in Switzerland, or even in Europe, dedicated to women only.
• Languages and Finishing «à la carte» Section: This program offers intensive French or English every morning
• (18 h. per week), large choice of optional courses in the afternoon such as : Italian, Spanish, Cookery, Pastry, Etiquette, Photography, Ceramics, Painting, History of Art, Computer, Business courses, Music, Sports.
• The IVP “Higher Certificate in Finishing”® Course is the comprehensive and traditional one taught for many years at IVP (Institut Villa Pierrefeu). As the IVP campus was custom designed for such courses the students are brought there in the afternoon (5 min. by bus) for their classes. This allows for a good balance between theory and practice, thus enabling the students to develop efficiency and proficiency in all aspects of Hostessing and Etiquette along with a greater knowledge of the manners of both western and non-western cultures. Students must be at least 16 years old and there is no upper age limit.
Our programs have the great advantage of being complementary. They can be combined with the Finishing section and are interactive.
We offer Cultural trips, Sports, Fitness, Summer Holiday Courses in July and August for girls from 10 to 20 years old, Skiing in winter. |
